Stuart has made the cakes
for two of our daughters and our wedding cake. All of them have been fantastic.
The Butterfly cake (see photo) he made for our wedding party last Saturday was
beyond our expectations and as Stuart was at the party we could praise him in
person. We have said in the past on this page that "when you bite into one
of his cakes all conversation stops" try it yourself you'll see

For me the best stall was the Stuart Thornley Cake Design because they had the biggest selection of samples and also the books that displayed the work they do. We loved them books. The stall was beautifully displayed too, they had obviously put a lot of work into it, making me appreciate local businesses more than I do already.

One of my favourite stalls Stuart Thornley Cake Design. Stuart and his team were friendly, helpful and very patient when I was deciding which cupcake to devour. I went for the strawberry cheesecake cupcake and it was delicious. They had samples of their delicacies to try out and they were enthusiastic about their produce.

Oh my god the cake was amazing!!!!! I ran in when we got there to see it and Mike & I were just overwhelmed. My brother didn’t think it was real as it was so perfect! The sparklers made a great photo and it was the most talked about topic of the day! That marzipan is to die for!! Everyone was asking me what flavour it was and who made it etc! Picked up the last part from my Mums yesterday and my Step dad wouldn’t let me take the sponge with me as he wanted it!! We couldn’t have asked for anything better, so thank you!!!

We ordered a Chuggington (Train) birthday cake for my grandson for his 1st Birthday - with very little notice. Yet Stuart was able to source the design, build the cake and deliver spot on time. The look on my grandson's face when he saw the cake and recognised his favourite character was a picture. Everyone thought the cake was DELICIOUS!!! A pity to cut it though. Have just tasted samples from a wedding fayre Stuart has done, vanilla, lemon, chocolate, fruit and carrot cake and can honestly say the nicest treats i have tasted-will definitely be ordering special cakes in future, nice easy website too.
